Purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, single-user license to use the materials in accordance with the terms below.

You are not purchasing ownership of the files—only the right to use them under specific conditions.

PROHIBITED USES

You may not, under any circumstances:

Sell, share, gift, sublicense, or otherwise redistribute the files in any format
Upload, input, or train any artificial intelligence models using these files, in whole or in part
Submit the files (original or modified) into any generative AI platform or dataset for the purpose of:

Creating derivative images
Training or fine-tuning models
Iterative design or image-to-image workflows
Style transfer or content extraction

This includes, but is not limited to: Midjourney, DALL·E, Adobe Firefly, ArtBreeder, NightCafe, Deep Dream Generator, Stable Diffusion, Leonardo AI, Fotor, Images.ai, DeepAI, Stable Diffusion, Google Imagen, Ideogram, Recraft, Seedream, Grok, GPT‑4o and other similar AI tools, software, or training environments.

Use these materials to create or sell “new” backgrounds, overlays, or textures derived from the originals
Print, repackage, or license these files as standalone products, whether in digital or physical form
Provide layered PSD or PNG files to clients or end users that contain any editable version of the background
Use in any commercial offering that enables others to access, extract, or isolate the background as an independent file
Sell purchased designs to any background (digital or physical) selling platform in ANY iteration

These backgrounds may not be resold, altered for resale, or used to train, feed, or seed any AI generator or dataset.

PERMITTED USES

You may:

Incorporate the backgrounds into your own photographic or painterly client work as flattened files
Use them in commercial editing for portraiture, composites, or digital painting, provided that the background is not extractable or resold
Use them as painterly bases inside programs such as Corel Painter or Adobe Photoshop, provided that the work is hand-rendered and human-created

LICENSE RESTRICTIONS

Each download is licensed to one individual user only. Multi-user licenses, studio licenses, or bulk permissions must be arranged in writing and purchased separately.

ENFORCEMENT

Passages 2024 Master Collection

Heather's 2024 Masterpiece Collection is here. And these previews do NOT do them justice! The last 30 plus years of backgrounds painting mastery shine through in these high resolution beauties!

The culmination of years of custom brushes, custom textures to create these breath-taking backgrounds is finally available for immediate access. Heather took some of her favorite past backgrounds and studied them re-painting them ENTIRELY on a grand scale trying the new "DUO" layout. These are perfect for full length edits, or you can crop into them (try the top, mid section or bottom!) plus various "solo" edits. The depth and transparency of the brushwork is a mixture of the original Passages meets Meet Me in the Garden meets the original Greige and Moody. Heather has pushed her own boundaries in this Master Collection and is pleased with its outcome! A few of the "full length" crops have a minimum side sized at 5471 pixels but the majority are sized at 9600x18000 pixels - IDEAL for the large portrait edit! The solos have a minimum edge sized at 5471 pixels. These were proudly hand painted, person crafted, and not created by an AI generator.

Fast track your portrait or painterly editing with these sophisticated backgrounds or overlay them as textures using software such as Adobe Photoshop within seconds.

With multiple palettes, you'll have something for absolutely every skin tone and ALL of the moods! Many times you'll come across beautiful compositions or textures in background offerings but they fall flat when it comes to color theory. That's not the case with this masterfully curated collection!

Please note the Passages 2024 zipped files do not contain Passages 2023 backgrounds. Funny story, Heather had always wanted to create a Master collection using the term Passages and found inspiration from the 2023 Collection. However, this 2024 Collection has new paintings BUT also includes the Passages 2023 to clear up any confusion (sorry).

The painterly edges may be softened with a quick gaussian blur (Photoshop) for extra bokeh in your portrait edit or left for a painterly edit.

The downloads are large, so it is ideal to download to your work computer versus a phone!
