Registration will OPEN July 27, 2017 but you must have submitted a portfolio and received approval before registering. An emailed registration link will be sent upon portfolio approval.
This intermediate Corel Painter Workshop is designed with the intermediate user in mind. An intimately sized group limited to six guests, this workshop will be held in Heather's home in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Only 35 minutes from Charlotte International Airport (CLT) and 12 minutes from new hotels, this rare opportunity will cover intermediate portrait, background with depth, ethereal atmospheric hair, and fabric painting. It's going to be epic. It's going to be intense. Using controlled cloning bases, guests will learn how Heather free hands the additional "layers" for a truly painterly interpretation with a focus on the figure and atmosphere.
Corel Painter 2017 or 2018 must be pre-installed on your laptop (the 30 day free trial is welcome!). Wacom or pressure sensitive stylus is required. Earlier versions of Corel Painter will NOT be supported.
It is imperative that guests must be comfortable with their computers and know how to navigate basic folders.
PORTFOLIO SUBMISSION (REQUIRED BEFORE YOU CAN APPLY FOR THIS WORKSHOP!)
Students must submit a portfolio of high res jpegs to show their proficiency in Corel Painter to show eligibility before signing up for this workshop. To send your portfolio please FILL OUT THIS QUESTIONNAIRE (it will have a link to attach your files). CLICK HERE.
Heather will try to review portfolios on a first submitted basis within 24 hours of submission and reply via text and email.

Class will run from 8 am to 5 pm daily
*Guests are required to watch the Intro to Painter video and setup their Painter preferences, palettes, and color management prior to the workshop so the workspace looks the same
Workshop Cancellation Policies
Workshops require full tuition to reserve your spot. You may cancel your registration up to 60 days prior to a workshop for full refund of monies deposited. After 30 days you will receive a 50% refund of the FULL tuition. 20 days or less prior to the workshop date, refunds are not available. If you must cancel your registration, non-refundable deposits paid may be applied towards any HeatherThePainterStore.com product or future workshop. If a workshop does not fill with an adequate number of students, Heather Chinn has the option to cancel the workshop up to two weeks prior to the event date. If a workshop is canceled, you have the option to receive a full refund of your tuition or you may apply it towards any other HeatherThePainterStore.com education product.
