LOGOS - MONOGRAMS - SIGNATURES - LETTERING
Please know that each word will have it's first letter on a separate layer so you can arrange and use it as a monogram. This provides unlimited editing and arranging options!
You receive one proof change. Additional proofs may incur a proof change fee.
PROCESS
After you reserve your design and fill out the consultation questionnaire (at checkout) an email will be sent to Heather with your design request. You will receive an emailed proof of several designs based on your feedback in the questionnaire. Upon proof approval via email, the final, high resolution file will be send online as a layered, transparent PSD (Photoshop) file. Heather often sends suggestions for easy font pairings with fonts that come standard in Photoshop. The letters are transparent, pixel based black shapes so you may incorporate them easily into "clipping masks" using Adobe Photoshop (or any other software that opens PSD formats). AVERAGE TURN AROUND TIME
Due to the overwhelmingly positive response, turn around time is currently about three weeks for the first proof set. You will be emailed a proof of several options with a variety of styles depending on the feedback you provide in the online consultation.
HOW ARE CLIENTS USING THESE HAND DRAWN DESIGNS?
Clients have been using these as logos, personal monograms, studio marketing names for special product lines, custom card design, digital signatures, and as marketing overlays on their digital artwork. They're easily editable and can be used as custom Photoshop stamps, Photoshop brushes, overlays, clipping masks, and more in software that supports Photoshop (PSD) formats such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements, and Adobe Illustrator. Why settle for a font that anyone can access for your personal BRAND when you can customize it to suit your style? Your commissioned design brings a new level of sophistication to your studio's message. Because they come as separately layered files (first letter, plus the rest of the word) you can use one letter, or use the full word for unlimited design potential!
CAN I EDIT THEM MYSELF?
Yes! Absolutely! You have total control over color choice and arrangement with using very basic Photoshop skills. Please note Adobe Photoshop or a program that opens layered PSD (Photoshop format) files is required. "Clipping masks" allow the user to use these black shapes as a base to attach a color, texture, or even a photograph to the shape itself for a perfectly clean edit. Heather often sends the proof set with font pairing suggestions that are easily obtained without additional licensing in Photoshop.
WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE PHOTOSHOP? CAN I HIRE HEATHER FOR ALL OF MY FINISHED DESIGN PIECES?
